2024 LRTA State Fall Meeting

“Laissez LRTA Rouler!”

Louisiana retired educators are invited to attend the LRTA State Fall Meeting on October 28-29, 2024. The meeting will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott, located at 142 Library Drive, Houma, LA 70360.

Registration opens at 12PM Monday, October 28, with pre-registration packet pickup available.

LRTA will hold a variety of informational sessions, including special speakers: Representative Larry Bagley, TRSL Executive Director Katherine Whitney, and Houma Wildlife Museum Director Jonathan Foret. We will present the Name of Fame awards, honor local units that earned Unit Challenge awards and will have another wacky hat contest! We are celebrating Louisiana bayou culture and will have a small fais do do to see who wears what hat the best! “Laissez LRTA Rouler!”

Local sponsors are offering a complimentary breakfast on Tuesday, October 29 from 7:00-8:30AM. This will be held at the Terrebonne Parish Library, across the street from the Marriott. Pre-registration is required (see form below).

Registration will be available at the meeting; however, banquet tickets are sold/reserved by pre-reservation only. No banquet OR breakfast reservations will be made by phone. NO REFUNDS AFTER OCTOBER 21.
