Spring District Meetings for Districts I – VI are POSTPONED until further notice

 

Due to the COVID19 outbreak, Spring District Meetings for Districts I, II, III, IV, V and VI are postponed to a later date due.

LRTA Executive Director Rodney Watson and LRTA State President Nancy Quigley made the decision based on state and national recommendations. Governor John Bel Edwards has declared a state of public health emergency and has closed Louisiana public schools and banned public gatherings larger than 250 people until April 13.

Once emergency bans/statuses are lifted, the LRTA state office will work with the District presidents to reschedule the postponed meetings.

LRTA will post videos on the content of the District Meeting with legislative updates periodically. Also, LRTA has posted the District Meeting packet materials for all Spring District Meetings on the website. Please take a moment to review these important resources here.

Mr. Watson and Mrs. Quigley will discuss the LRTA Spring Meeting in the upcoming days. We will make an announcement as soon as a decision is made whether to go forward with the meeting on April 28 -29.
