LRTA Districts

LRTA includes 11 districts. The borders of these districts were once based on the US congressional districts. Today, they have evolved and changed based on the geographical convenience for the members living in particular parishes.
LRTA’s 11 districts are refined into local Units. Units are geographically smaller, but their membership is strong. Units are made up of retired educators that often have similar professional backgrounds or a group retired from the same town or region. Units are often called the workhorses of LRTA and are very effective in all that they do.
