Edith S. Keys, District VI President

Edith S. Keys is a teacher, leader, and advocate in education. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from LSU, she became an educator. She has taught in the State of Louisiana since 1979 and has served as a representative for several associations, including but not limited to, Delta Kappa Gamma, Maplewood First Baptist Church, Sulphur Garden Club and Southwest Louisiana Daylily Club. She has also been an active member within LRTA for several years. She now serves as District VI President for the Association, serving other retirees across the parishes of Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson, and Davis in Louisiana.

She is the proud wife of her loving husband, Jon Keys. They have supported each other for over 51 years. Together, they have four children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
