Renée M. Siccone

Renée M. Siccone, Assistant Director

Renée M. Siccone is a native of Ascension Parish and studied accounting and business administration at Louisiana State University before beginning her career at the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association.  She began as LRTA’s secretary when the office first opened in 1974, and has held the positions of Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Member Services Coordinator before being appointed LRTA Assistant Director in 2006.  She has worked with each of the seven Executive Directors of LRTA and has seen many changes throughout the years.  In her current position as LRTA Assistant Director, in addition to numerous other operational duties, Renée is primarily responsible for all financial transactions, recordkeeping and reporting, oversight of an annual budget of over $600,000, as well as serving as administrator for LRTA’s membership database.

From her work with LRTA, Renée knows the value of a good volunteer base, and through the years she has volunteered with her parish church, her daughter’s schools, Audubon Girl Scout Council, Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Bishop Ott Homeless Shelter.  She is past president of Excalibur Club of Baton Rouge, past board member of Inter-Civic Council of Baton Rouge, past president of Gamma Eta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and past State Legislative Chair for Epsilon State of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
