St. Tammany Retired School Employees Association held its first meeting of the new school year in early September. Celebrating the return of “Back to School,” all attendees were encouraged to wear their favorite school colors or spirit shirts. STRSEA also hosted a school supplies donation drive for St. Tammany public school students in need.

STRSEA welcomed St. Tammany Public Schools Superintendent Trey Folse, who gave an update on the status of the school system, as well as an overview of various topics shared by STRSEA President Roxanne Lagarde.

STRSEA meets throughout the year on the second Thursday of September, November, December, March and May, including an annual Christmas party and spring luncheon.
