Although the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association (LRTA) does not endorse candidates for public office, the Association is committed to communicating support from elected officials on issues that are important to maintaining and improving the benefits needed to secure dignity and independence in retired life. LRTA has reached out to all candidates running in the October 2023 elections to gauge their thoughts and opinions on the LRTA Legislative Priorities. Any and all responses are listed below. If candidates submitted additional comments with their survey responses, those comments are included as well.
