We are at the first stop on our Road to a COLA! We have received word that the Senate Retirement Committee will meet as early as Monday, March 28, and Senate Bill 6 by Senator Ed Price will be on the agenda. SB 6 will provide for a two percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) to eligible TRSL retirees. Retirees must be retired at least one year and age 60.
Because of the quick turnaround, we recommended calling or emailing members of the Senate Retirement Committee to ask for their SUPPORT of SB 6.
If you have your Golden Letters ready, make sure to mail them TODAY!
