April 8, 2022Senate Bill 6 by Senator Ed Price has PASSED the Senate Finance Committee. SB 6, which will provide for a two percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) to TRSL retirees age 60 and retired at least one year, is now headed to the Senate Floor. The Senate could vote on SB 6 any day now.
I encourage everyone who has their Golden Letter ready for their senator to go ahead and mail it to them today. Here is a link to download the Golden Letter template if you need. Although hand-written letters are very effective, you may type your letters on a Word Document if you prefer.
