LRTA President Nancy Quigley shares what others can expect from LRTA and reflects on her experiences with LRTA.
Nancy joined LRTA and her local Unit at the encouragement of her friends who had retired and joined.
Because of LRTA’s current leadership, Nancy feels that LRTA has a voice in the legislative process. LRTA Executive Director Rodney Watson works to inform and advocate for retired teachers throughout the legislative sessions, especially when bills proposing to alter the retirement system or retirement plans arise.
