2025 LRTA State Meeting

We are celebrating successes while forging friendships.

The LRTA Fall Meeting will be held October 20-21 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 4914 Constitution Ave., Baton Rouge.    Registration opens at 12:00 noon Monday, October 20, with pre-registration packet pickup available.  LRTA will hold a variety of informational sessions, including a TRSL Update from Director Katherine Whitney, a lively presentation from La. Dept. of Cultural Development’s Division of Arts Director Leea Russell, a comprehensive presentation on his 10 years at LRTA by outgoing Executive Director Rodney Watson, and more!  Unit Challenge certificates will be awarded, and we’ll have another wacky hat contest!  The Tuesday night banquet will feature Name of Fame presentations to honorees from Districts 3 and 4 and will wrap up with a tribute to Executive Director Rodney Watson as he retires after 10+ years of service to the Association.

Through special arrangements with Embassy Suites, hotel room rates ($110 per night for a king suite and $118 per night for a 2-bed suite) are being offered, which includes a cooked-to-order breakfast for hotel guests.  Banquet meals on October 21 are by pre-reservation only, at a cost of $35 per person.

Registration will be available at the meeting; however, banquet tickets are sold/reserved by pre-reservation only with received payment.

Seating is limited.  No banquet reservations will be made by phone. NO REFUNDS FOR BANBQUET AFTER OCTOBER 15.
