LRTA is celebrating 70 years of advocacy and fellowship this July 18!

Our mission has always been to make retirement years better for retired teachers across Louisiana and the country by being an advocate for our members and their families. It is not always easy, but it is the work and determination of thousands of our members who make LRTA a formidable force with the legislature. From the beginning days of our organization, “collective and collaboration” have been the cornerstone tenets leading to the success of our group.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS MADE LRTA WHAT IT IS TODAY!
