This past week, the Lincoln Parish Retired Educators (LPRE) held their monthly meeting with several new faces joining. Their successful meeting was featured in the Ruston Daily Leader paper. President, Liz White led the discussion on intellectual curiosity throughout life, particularly after formal retirement. There are so many opportunities to live your best life during your retirement years, and LPRE is a perfect example of leading the way in making retirement years great by planting seeds for growth through continued fellowship and common interests that keep life curious!
Thank you for all the heart felt hard work you put in during your teaching career. As a retiree, we are working hard with TRSL to help get the UAL (debt) down so that in a couple more years retired teachers can start getting systematic COLA payouts! Hang in there!
