Delia Richardson
Public Relations/Comm. Coordinator

Delia Richardson, Public Relations/Communications Coordinator

I graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. While studying at NSU, I also worked as a writer/reporter for the campus publication, The Nicholls Worth.

Following graduation, I chose to focus my time and energy on my family and raising my two young children. During that time, I pursued my passion for health and fitness and became a certified personal trainer. Not only was I able to be compensated for doing what I love, but I was also able to help others become healthy and reach goals they weren’t able to achieve on their own! Such a rewarding experience!

After a short venture as a personal trainer, I moved to Baton Rouge in hopes of finding an opportunity to work within my degree field, as well as to continue helping others. Becoming a part of the LRTA staff has satisfied both respects–I am able to do what I love and studied to do, as well as be part of an association that helps to support and defend retirees and their benefits.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, cooking, gardening, running, doing arts and crafts, and shopping. However, my favorite way to pass the time is chasing after my two active boys and playing dress up with my new baby girl!

Ann Reed
Membership Services Coordinator

Ann S. Reed, Membership Services Coordinator

I became the LRTA Membership Services Coordinator on June 15, 2004.  Before coming to LRTA, I worked in the legal field for more than 16 years.  I grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and moved to the Baton Rouge area when I was 21.  I now live with my husband, Barry, in our dream home in Gonzales, La., where we attend The Church in St. Amant. We are active in several ministries at our church that involve serving others.  In our spare time, which there is very little of, we enjoy riding our Harley Davidson motorcycles or taking a spin in our new red Slingshot, a three-wheeled convertible autocycle.
